At Tecnos we understand the importance of delivering products on time, right the first time!
Thanks to the highly industrialization of the production process and the implementation of the lean system we are able to produce just-in-time (JIT) inventory wich means waste reduction and process simplification.

Our Quality Control Department constantly monitors the production output, based on set company standards. A large percentage of our furniture is examined visually to prevent defective products from being sold into the external market.
Our efficient Logistics Department guarantees the best service in terms of timely deliveries and packaging personalization.

Furthemore, the company is strategically located 30 minutes away from the port of Ancona (one of the major ports in Italy that annually handles over 900.000 tons of goods mainly from Europe, Africa, Black sea and the Middle East) and only 10 minutes away from Ancona airport (well connected with most European countries) which makes even easier to be connected to the rest of the world.

What is “Lean System”?

Lean is a systematic method for the elimination of waste (“Muda”) within a manufacturing system. Lean also takes into account waste created through overburden (“Muri”) and waste created through unevenness in work loads (“Mura”). Working from the perspective of the client who consumes a product or service, “value” is any action or process that a customer would be willing to pay for.
Essentially, lean is centered on making obvious what adds value by reducing everything else. Lean manufacturing is a management philosophy derived mostly from the Toyota Production System (TPS) (hence the term Toyotism is also prevalent) and identified as “lean” only in the 1990s.
